Best Portfolios From Around The World – Italy
Continuing with my “Best Portfolios From Around the World” series, I offer you this little portfolio/resume book from design student, Paula Del Mas from Florence, Italy. It’s a great example of making your portfolio book into so much more than just a container for your work – but instead a well conceived, designed and functional piece unto itself.
Paula says, “The aim of the Resume Book is to create an attractive and touchable portfolio to promote myself as a graphic designer.
I put all my efforts in creating a beautiful book, one that catch the attention of the reader not only by it’s content but principally by the design of the book itself. That’s why I pay a lot of attention to the design layout, the choice of the fonts and the pictures used to show my background, studies and languages.
For the cover I decided to make a collage, a technique I love, to make a picture which can represent some of my values such as harmony, equilibrium, feminity and modernity.”
