This compelling photography book from Ignacio Galvez, a photographer from Chile currently based in Santiago, visually captures a range of artists and their music.

The press release reads –
Shoot it Yourself based in punk logic and message “Do it yourself” is a musical photography book with 144 pages of black and white shoots from many differents rock, metal and punk bands playing in Santiago, Sao Paulo, Indio and Los Angeles, during the last five years. Inside them, we can found live pictures and portraits of Public Enemy, Faith No More, Anthrax, Nofx, Rage Against The Machine, Descendents, Slayer, Less Than Jake, Brujeria, Pearl Jam, Incubus and many others. This book includes an extensive register of Lollapalooza Festival in Chile and Brasil, and Coachella (Indio, CA).

Ignacio Gálvez is an independent photographer, with experience in advertising and mass media. His passion, altought, it’s music. Member of local hardcore band called “562”, skater and big fan of extreme sports, he give big part of his time to portray musicians on stage and backstage, capturing unique and special moments. Scott Weiland, Tom Araya, Tony Hawk and Chris Cornell have been portrayed by Ignacio’s camera among others.”
