“I want to be in the spots where the racecars are throwing up the dirt.” That was the line that really stuck with me from the brand assessment worksheet I asked photographer, Daniel Baum to fill out. I’m often asked how I go about capturing a person’s brand and encapsulating it into a logo. I find it’s the details that inspire and ultimately help to create something unique and meaningful. Daniel, who specializes in action sports and sport culture, gave me many great details to work with. Knowing those details and that the logo had to ultimately look good on a baseball cap as well as a professional website, I was ready to set to work. Those same qualities also drove the business card design.
