Authentic, Memorable, Sustainable. These are some of the important traits of a brand identity. It’s about a logo of course, but shouldn’t stop there. The color palette, materials, typeface, style of imagery – all of these contribute to symbolically identify you and your business as they are consistently and thoughtfully extended to all aspects of your promotional materials.
Such is the case for photographer, Dan Bannister and his new brand identity. He told me, “I did a complete new word mark, branding, portfolio, postcards, business cards, website refresh and collateral materials and I’ve gotten a ton of really nice feedback on the whole design. I worked with Kelly Hartman at Hartman Design Studio on the branding and with Scott at Mullenberg Design for the book.”
