A Useful Promo

It’s always a good idea to create a promo that’s entertaining and interesting to look at. If you can make that promo something people would actually keep around and use – well that gets you bonus points. Case in point, check out photographer Jonathan Hanson‘s 2013 Calendar.

Jonathan says, “In September I made a post asking readers to choose between the two layouts below for my January mailer. After reading through the responses, it was almost split so I decided to make both of them. Interestingly enough, men tended to favor the calendar with the two girls and woman went with the one with the boy throwing water (not in every case).

This week I’m sending them out. One side has a 2013 calendar with work from recent travels while the other side is a grid of pictures. They fold up to 6.5 x 9.5 and are being sent in clear plastic sleeves to give you a peek to what is in inside.
